Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Zoe's Deals collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

• Site and device information. Our hosting, security, and analytics services may receive IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, and timestamps.
• Retailer-link activity. When you use a shop link, our first-party redirect records an aggregate click for that deal and date before sending you to the retailer.
• Google account information. If you choose to sign in with Google when account features are available, we may receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password or access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, or other Google services.
• Deal reports. If you report an expired deal or another problem, we may store the deal, selected reason, optional explanation, account, submission time, and the report's automated effect on ranking or visibility.
• Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information included in your message.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the site, authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, investigate deal reports, maintain accurate listings, measure aggregate usage, improve the service, respond to messages, and comply with legal obligations. Google account information is used only to provide and protect Zoe's Deals account features.

Analytics, cookies, and similar technology

We use an essential, secure session cookie when you sign in so the site can recognize your account and protect report submissions. We also use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and interactions. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar identifiers and may process device, browser, approximate-location, and usage information under Google's policies. Cloudflare provides network delivery, security, and performance measurement and may process request and device information. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or use Google's Analytics opt-out tools; blocking the essential session cookie will prevent account features from working.

When information is shared

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, authenticate, analyze, and operate the site, including Google and Cloudflare. When you follow a retailer or sharing link, that third party receives information according to its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including account operation, report integrity, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Analytics and infrastructure providers apply their own retention settings. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may browse without creating an account, decline Google sign-in, sign out, control cookies in your browser, or ask us to access, correct, or delete account information associated with your email. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Children

Zoe's Deals is a general-audience shopping-information service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
